Amnesty Ireland
Amnesty Ireland can provide a wide range of material and support in the delivery of human rights education to all age groups.The LIFT OFF Cross Border Human Rights Education Initiative for primary schools is a partnership between Amnesty International Irish Section, amnesty International UK Section, Irish National Teachers organisation and Ulster Teachers Union.
Barnardos Works with children who face barriers in reaching their full potentila. Barriers such as poverty, abuse, neglect and bereavement. Works directly with children and families throughout Ireland, with family support services in 14 counties.
Comhairle na nOg
Comhairle na nOg means "youth councils" They are organised by the City/County Development Boards, and their objective is to give children and young people a voice at a community level.
Dail na nOg
Dail na nOg means "Youth Parliament". Children will have a voice in matters which affect them and their views will be given due weight in accordance with their age and maturity.
Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC)
A child protection and children's rights advocacy agency. Offers child-centred programmes and policies encouraging better nurturance of children and better parent/child relationships; seeks to prevent and eliminate violence and abuse towards children.
Ombudsman for Children
The Office was established under the Ombudsman for Children Act, 2002. The Ombudsman role for Children is to safeguard and promote the rights of children and young people under the age of eighteen

Works in Ireland to raise awareness of the problems and concerns of people living under horrific conditions in the developing world.UNICEF Ireland
UNICEF Ireland is one of 37 National Committees from the developed world working to raise money for UNICEF's overseas programmes for the world's poorest children. As well as raising funds here in Ireland, we also promote awareness of issues affecting children, working with schools, youth groups, the Irish Government, other NGOs and the public.

UNICEF
For 60 years UNICEF has been the world's leader for children, working on the ground in over a 150 countries and territories to help children survive and thrive, from early childhood through adolescence. The world's largest provider of vaccines for developing countries, UNICEF supports child health and nutrition, clean water and sanitation, quality basic education for all boys and girls, and the protection of children from violence, exploitation, and AIDS.
UN Special Session on Children
The UN Special Session on Children was the most important international conference on children in more than a decade. It was the first such Session devoted exclusively to children and the first to include them as official delegates.
Voices of Youth (VOY)
Believe it or not, Voices of Youth has been around since 1995!. It was developed as part of the celebrations for UNICEF's 50th Anniversary (UNICEF was started on 11 December 1946).
VOY connects young people from around the world to each other and to world leaders.
The `Teacher's Place` was set up for teachers and young leaders to exchange ideas and find ways of using Voices of Youth in the classroom and community.
